Dress Code
SCHOOL DRESS
The students and parents may determine the student’s personal dress and grooming standards, provided that the student’s dress and grooming follow the LISD Dress Code and:
• Does not lead school officials to believe that such dress or grooming will disrupt, interfere with disturb, or detract from school activities (Hats may NOT be worn to school and shorts should be appropriate length).
• Does not create a health hazard or other safety hazard to the student’s safety or to the safety of others.(No flip flops please)
• Does not advertise drug or alcohol items or promote gang activity
VESTUARIO EN LA ESCUELA
Los estudiantes y padres pueden determinar el arreglo personal y peinado del estudiante, siempre y cuando el arreglo personal vaya de acuerdo al Código de Vestuario LISD:
• No se permitirá que el vestuario interrumpa, interfiera, ó distraiga las actividades de la escuela. (cachuchas/sombreros no serán permitidos y los pantalones cortos/shorts deberán estar a una medida apropiada)
• No crea un peligro para la salud ó la seguridad de otro estudiante ó la seguridad de otros (por favor, no flip flops)
• No anuncien drogas ó alcohol ó promueva actividades de pandillas
